Nelson Mandela

Learning is the most important tool in developing yourself. Learning from the legend the most important, because you learn value, ethics, integrity, love, trust, honesty, compassion and patience. You learn the experience of the legend.

Let’s learn from the “Nelson Mandela”

About Nelson Mandela:

Nelson Mandela was born on 18/6/1918, in South Africa. He was peaceful, nonviolent social activist. He was the first black president of South Africa. He was awarded with Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. He was the symbol of global peacemaking. He fights for the rights of humanity.

On 5/12/2013 at the age of 95, Nelson Mandela died at his home in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Nelson Mandela’s Quotes:

1) Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Education is the fundamental right of every human being. Education has power to change the world. It’s like weapon. You can use in your defense, or you can use it for the betterment of society. Using education for your personal development is good, but if you use your education for the betterment of society then you are doing the great job.

In today’s world you are doing lot for yourself, but you have the responsibility to do something valuable for society. Education will provide you the edge against all odds in life.

You can do anything, which will useful for others. Any kind of education is best, if you it for the betterment of human beings.

Every great person has a weapon called education, which they use to change the world, like Mahatma Gandhi.

Invest in knowledge, take education in life.

2) I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Its great quote by Nelson Mandela. Every person has fears. But you have to make victory over your fears, and be courageous in life. Every successful person once a failure in his life, but he never stop, he fights back, and he never quit, till he reach to his goal and become successful. You can be afraid of something in your life, but you have to conquer that fear, and achieve your goal.

Fear is everywhere, but how you deal with your fear is the most important part task to become successful. Fear is a part of your life; you can’t avoid it, if you have something which is not necessary, what you do? You deal with it, likewise fear is a part of life, you have to conquer that fear and become successful in life.

3) It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership.

It’s a valuable learning for leaders.

If something great happen don’t take all credit, it’s a team work, celebrate it with your team, and if something wrong is in place, and then accept whole responsibility, and stay in front line, then only people will appreciates you, and you become people’s leader.

Don’t become your own leaders, try to become team player first, help people, and then they will accept you as a leader.

A true leader is accepted by others.

A true leader doesn’t take full credit of success.

A true leader accepts full responsibility of failure.

If you are successful in life, give credit to your family, your teacher, wife, friends, mentors, coach, and your failure, last but not the least give credit to the book you read in your life.

4) It always seems impossible until it’s done.

It’s like, nothing is impossible, if you think, you can become, but you have to think passionately, you have right determination. When you are a kid, you don’t know how to drive a motorcycle, you think it’s impossible, but when you ride it first time, you are thinking like its possible. You can drive it. Ultimately you drive it successfully.

The difference in thinking and doing is, doing is action on your plan, and thinking is creating plan for your goal. You required having passion, determination, and desire to do the things.

When you complete the task you feel great. So without doing don’t accept it as an impossible work to do. Successful people are action orientated; they do something every day to reach the goal.

5) Money won’t create success, the freedom to make it will.

It’s great learning for everybody, money is not success. You must have some money, but don’t run to make money. Follow your passion in life; you can make some money in your passion.

Remember freedom is success. Every kind of freedom is success, you can have freedom to work, and you can have financial freedom. You can have writing freedom.

So it’s great, freedom to follow your passion, and freedom to work you like most is success.

In today’s world people think money is success, but you cannot be happy with money. If you have freedom you become happy. So if you like to be successful in life, you must happy in life. Money can’t buy happiness, and money can’t buy success. You have to reach and make it happen. So remember money is not everything, being happy and freedom is success.

6) Unlike some politicians, I can admit to a mistake.

Admit your mistake is great tool to become excellent in your field. If you admit your mistake, then you become responsible in life. Without responsibility, you can’t think of success in life. Every successful person is responsible to his life. Accept responsibility in life.

Accepting and learning from failure is a golden road to become successful in life.

Although Nelson Mandela has passed, but his learning never passed, he was inspiration to me. And his learning is great, great people never died they alive by their messages and their work.

My great tribute to him.
